Opening Hours

• Until Easter, our cafe and gift shop are open daily from 10:00am, with the aquarium opening daily at 10:30.
• We close at 5:45pm with the last aquarium entry one hour before closing time.
• From Easter the whole site will open at 10:00am and close at 6:00pm with the last aquarium entry at 4:45pm.

All standard entry ticket prices held from 2011.
Every standard and family ticket is valid for 7 days, so, for the week following your first visit, you’re welcome to return free of charge to see your new fishy friends and marine mates! A great deal for families!

Best time to visit / climate

• There is no good or bad time to visit London.
• The attractions are mostly open all year round.
• July and August are the height of summer.
• These would also be the most expensive months.
• This is the time when London has the biggest crowds mainly because of the school holidays and the ‘good’ weather.
• New Year and Easter are also busy periods and expensive.
• In the winter it is dark by early evening (16.00).
• In the height of summer it is light until 22.00.

How to get there?

1. By Air
• Anglesey Airport is located to the south west of the island at RAF Valley.
• This is less than two miles from the A55 expressway.
• The airport provides a gateway for both business and leisure travelers to North West Wales and all the region has to offer.
• Manx2 offers twice daily Monday to Friday flights linking Cardiff with Anglesey.
• Services from Anglesey Airport offer an alternative to the long journeys by road and rail.
• Manx2 also operate a summer service between Anglesey and the Isle of Man and Belfast.

• Manchester Airport is established as an important access point for the UK.
• It offers easy access to North Wales from most parts of Europe, USA and beyond with good connections by rail and road.

2. By Bus
• A network of coach services from most parts of the UK is available.
• Once on the island there is a network of local services which allow you to travel around at your leisure.

3. By Car
• The motorway network and the A55 road along the North Wales coast offer dual carriageway access right across the island.
• If you are travelling from the south you may prefer the A5 that takes you through the mountains of North Wales.

4. By Sea
Holyhead Harbour
• Holyhead is the gateway to Ireland.

5. By Train
Bangor and Holyhead are on the main rail route to Ireland with connections and services from most parts of the UK.
